Work, among all its abstracts,
is actually intimacy,
the place where the self
meets the world.

ABOUT AMELIA

Amelia Pape is a consultant, strategist, and writer specializing in complex collaboration and systems change. She is the founder of My Street Grocery, a mobile food access initiative that became the first of its kind to be acquired and operated by a national retailer. She went on to join Whole Foods Market to launch its inaugural mobile grocery store and build a suite of food access programs across the Pacific Northwest.

Amelia's work at the intersection of food systems and community infrastructure informed her broader practice in network leadership and collaborative strategy. In her work with
Converge, she supported the formation and amplification of more than 25 impact networks across four continents.

Through her consultancy, Network Approach, Amelia works with leaders, organizations, and coalitions to design and facilitate trust-based collaboration in complex systems. Her work has appeared in the Stanford Social Innovation Review, Fast Company, HuffPost, and NPR. She is the co-creator of an open-source toolkit for network leaders, and a contributor to the book, Impact Networks: Create Connection, Spark Collaboration, and Catalyze Systemic Change

Amelia holds a BA in economics and political theory and an MBA with a focus in social enterprise. She lives and works in Portland, Oregon, and remains convinced that trust is the most underrated lever in systems change.
