Work, among all its abstracts, is actually intimacy, the place where the self meets the world.

About Amelia

A systems-oriented mind and a purpose-driven heart led me to a career focused on cross-sector collaboration for positive impact.
I’m a network strategist, facilitator, advisor, and writer. I work independently but rarely alone, thanks to my trusted network of collaborators, with whom I partner to meet the unique needs of each project. My style is relational, strategic, grounded, and creative. I draw from my experience as a consultant, entrepreneur, corporate director, and network coordinator to help collaborations thrive.

Before planting a stake in the consulting field, I founded My Street Grocery to increase equitable access to food, and later served as Director of Food Access Programs at Whole Foods Market. As a Converge Network Co-Creator, I supported dozens of impact networks and contributed to our book and open-source toolkit for leaders taking a network approach to their work.
I'm happiest when bathing in the forest, digging in my garden, moving to music, shouting at Blazers games, wandering the quantum field, and cooking for the people I love.
I live in beautiful Portland, Oregon, with an exuberant border collie, and I work with purpose-driven clients around the world.
Trusted Collaborators
Over time, I've built a trusted network of collaborators — facilitators, researchers, writers, designers, and strategists — who share a relational approach to complex work.

These are people I know well, trust deeply, and love working alongside. Every project begins with the work itself: what's needed, who's needed, and how we can best support the people and purpose at the center. Based on this assessment, many projects include one or more of my collaborators.
